Public Projects

The scope of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and generally consists of but not limited to full-depth pavement removal and replacement of Rebel Drive from the entrance on 5th Street, along the south side of the building, and extending to the west edge of the basketball court. The work will also include some smaller features such as a new concrete entrance at the “recess doors”, decorative rock mulch in the inset alongside the entry, removal of abandoned bollards/concrete, installation of steel bollards around the light pole (near corner of the removed building), and paint pavement markings. The project also includes three alternate bids that expands the paving scope of work to other parts of the site.

The work also includes the installation of a new exterior aluminum clad wood window in an exterior masonry cavity wall construction including installing a new lintel.

The scope of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and generally consists of several miscellaneous maintenance projects at various schools including: flooring replacement, painting, and wood base at Jefferson School; Air Handler replacement, flooring replacement, and attic door replacement at Lettie Brown School; kitchen floor replacement and waste plumbing repair at Grundy School; Roof replacement and exhaust fan replacement at the Jr High School; Window security film at entrances to all school.

The scope of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and generally consists of the selective demolition of the existing structure and building addition at the North Entry. Building addition is a steel framed structure with aluminum composite panels over metal stud façade, aluminum curtain wall entry, single ply membrane roof, drywall partitions, and polished concrete slab on grade construction. The existing gyn façade will be faced with aluminum composite panels and a drop off canopy structure. The existing building will have a complete renovation of the locker room areas including walls, finishes, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. There is also an infill building addition to an existing courtyard.*NOTE: PLAN SET WAS REISSUED IN ADDENDUM #1 AND HAVE BEEN PLACED UNDER THE PLANS TAB AS THE CURRENT BID SET OF DRAWINGS.

Work includes demolition and new construction of concrete, structural steel, masonry, roofing, doors and frames, glazing, interior finishes, casework, toilet room accessories, mechanical systems, electrical power and lighting systems, data cabling, plumbing, and fire protection systems.

The scope of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and generally consists of a 1400 SF infill building addition constructed out of conventional wood framing/trusses, concrete stem foundation walls, and concrete slab on grade. The small addition includes a large workroom, office space, expanded stacks area, and a storage/mechanical room. Also included is minor renovation work to the existing facility.

Sealed bids for "MORTON CUSD 709 BUSINESS UNIT OFFICE RENOVATION" will be received by the Board of Education, Morton Community Unit School District 709, hereinafter known as the Owner, until 2:00 PM prevailing time on Wednesday, August 9th, 2023, at the Morton Education and Administration Center, 1050 S. 4th Avenue, Morton, IL 61550 at which time Bids will be publicly opened, read aloud, and recorded.

Sealed bids for "RANKIN SCHOOL DISTRICT 98 SECURITY ACCESS CONTROLS" will be received by the Board of Education, Rankin School District #98, hereinafter known as the Owner, until 2:00 PM prevailing time on Wednesday April 19th, 2023 at the Rankin School District Office, 13716 5th Street,Pekin IL 61554 after which time Bids will be publicly opened, read aloud, and recorded. The Bids must be received by District staff in the District Office by 2:00PM to be considered. The Bid opening will take place immediately afterward in the District Meeting Room.
